Proud to be celebrating 16 years in speciality cleaning services

Unique Services is like one big happy family, and over the past 16 years we have grown to offer speciality cleaning services to the top names in New Zealand. Meet the people who make it happen.


Unique Services Group was founded by Noel Johnson, and next month we will be celebrating 16 years in speciality cleaning services.

Right from the beginning, Noel recognized an opportunity to offer speciality cleaning, painting and maintenance services to major corporate customers in the Auckland region.

From our humble beginnings we now have a full-time staff, and are currently looking for another member to join our team!

We have extended our reach to customers outside of the Auckland area and now provide services to major clients such as, Fonterra, Goodman Fielder, Griffins Foods, Nestle and numerous national and multinational companies.

Working at Unique Services provides a great opportunity to learn and grow. Full training is provided ensuring our team are certified in all aspects of Food Safety procedures.

Our team are also highly trained to NZQA standards for Permit Receiver, Hazard Management, Confined Space, Safe Working at Heights, Safe Chemical Handling and many other qualifications. We pride ourselves on the services we offer to our clients along with the expertise to ensure they get the results they need.

We cater to all industrial cleaning needs, from critical hygiene cleaning to paint application and bird proofing. We help to ensure that food production and manufacturing companies conform to Food Safety and Food Hygiene Compliance and Audit obligations.

Appreciating our staff

Unique Services is a family-orientated business, who care about their staff and invest the time to see the team grow and thrive.

Our Financial Controller, Robyn Schoch, is the work “mum”, who always makes sure we are all okay, and Robyn is the 'go to person' if anyone has a problem.

If we are ever stuck or need help, our Sales Administrator Johanna Parson is our 'go-to office' lady. Always making sure we are up-to-date with our inductions and qualifications, she works closely with Noel Johnson, our General Manager.  Johanna has the responsibility of making sure Noel’s day runs as smoothly as possible, enabling him to spend more time with clients.  

Andrew Chan is Head of Operations who is responsible for the effective daily operations of our divisions and making sure the team are up to date with everything. He also ensures our clients are happy.

Andrew checks that our client site managers are completely satisifed with the job being done, and that it complies with the job sheet. If our clients require any extra work to be carried out, he makes sure that all the correct paper work is in place and our team members are briefed accordingly.

Tracy Johnson, our Operations Administrator, works closely with Andrew to make sure that he has everything he needs to make his job a little easier where she can. When she’s not working hard she is always putting smiles on our faces and making us laugh.

Our Operations Supervisor, Simon Nee, is always ready to step up and take on the responsibilities as Andrew’s second in charge, which he does with a “can do” attitude.

As for me... my name is Teegan Klinac and I first started working at Unique Services back in 2013. I was Personal Assistant to Noel Johnson so my job was to help with daily management , scheduling meetings, emails and other various tasks.

In 2015 I went on maternity leave as I was due to have my baby girl. I enjoyed being a mummy so much I decided to do it full time.  Now I’m back part time managing our social media and I’ve learned new skills with the help of our SEO Company High Profile Enterprises.

I set myself goals and targets to reach for our Social Media marketing and that drives me to meet them. I’m glad to be back, working here is very special because we operate like a big family, which makes it feel more than “just a job”. I enjoy my time at Unique Services and look forward to celebrating more years to come.
